St John's Heritage Festival Tours 2017

As part of the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival, St John's and the Schoolhouse Museum are offering a number of tours:
GET IN TOUCH WITH CANBERRA'S EARLY HISTORY
Saturday 22 April 3:00pm-4:00pm
Ring the church bells on a Rector's guided tour of the St John's Historic Precinct - Church (1845), Churchyard and Schoolhouse Museum. No charge and no need to RSVP. Meet at the lychgate near the St John's Schoolhouse Museum.

Let’s go on a History Hunt! This year at St John’s Schoolhouse we are asking questions and inviting you to hunt for answers in the Schoolhouse Museum, as well as around the St John's historic churchyard and church. This will be both fun and informative, with something for children 6-18, as well as family groups hunting together. Gold coin donation.

TORCHLIGHT TOUR OF THE ST JOHN'S CHURCHYARD

Headstones by torchlight in St John’s Churchyard? A great opportunity to hear stories of many pioneers buried at this site that predates the nation’s capital by almost 70 years.
