Children’s Church (Sunday School) and Youth Group

Our Sunday 9:30 am Church Family Service is designed to be child- and family-friendly.  During term our Children’s Church and Youth Group offers an engaging “Sunday school” program for children from age 3 through Year 10.  Young adults also meet during the term: Please contact Michael Richards, our Youth and Children’s Minister for more information (details below).

Most Sundays children and youth gather in the church before the first hymn and then go to the Hall for age-based lessons and activities.  They rejoin the congregation in time to take their place beside their parents to share Holy Communion.

The four age-based groups are:

*Pebbles—Ages 3 through Kindy

*Rocks—Years 1 and 2

*Boulders—Years 3, 4 and 5

*The Greenhouse—Years 6 through 10

We like children and their families to feel comfortable.  There is no need to feel embarrassed if your young child cries, laughs, talks or sings – as children do!  We provide toys in the side alcove, where infants and toddlers (and their parents) often go during the service.

We hold family, children’s and youth activities throughout the year, including a family camp.
