St John's 2007 Mission Projects
St John's Parish Council has set the goal of doubling our mission giving for 2007 by means of matching parishioner giving dollar-for-dollar from the parish budget (to a set total and to specified Anglican projects). We encourage you to adopt one project as your own.
The five projects selected so far are:
1. AngliCORD's AFARS health and literacy project for the desert nomads in the Horn of Africa, the lifetime project of Valerie Browning, Bishop George Browning's sister.

5. ABM's Indigenous Leadership Training project supports the training of indigenous leaders at Nungalinya (Darwin) and Wontulp-BiBuya (Cairns) theological institutes.
