Parish Groups and Ministries

There are many groups and ministries that make up the life of our faith community.

The St John’s Choir is a four part choir that sings at the traditional 11.15 a.m. services on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month and Choral Evensong at 6.00 p.m. on the 3rd Sunday.  Extra voices are always welcome.

We invite you to come and join our team who arrange flowers throughout the year.  No formal training is necessary and assistance is provided.  For more information please contact the parish office.

St John’s has a fine set of bells donated by a former Governor-General.  Mondays at 5.30 p.m. is when the bellringers practice in the belltower.

You will enjoy the shining brass on Sunday even more if you have cleaned it!   We have a small group of people who assist monthly.
