Giving of our financial resources
As Jesus’ disciples we are called to make new disciples and grow God’s kingdom. Therefore, every parish or faith community needs regular income to provide for salaries, pay its bills, maintain its buildings and grounds, etc. There are four ways to give of our financial resources:
Internet Banking
If you are a user of Internet Banking, through your own computer you can organise your bank’s system to make regular or one-off deposits from your bank account. The details of St John’s bank account that you will need in order to do this are this are:
BSB Number: 702.389
Account Number: 05209450
Account Name: St John the Baptist Reid
Anglican Direct
By using Anglican Direct funds are transferred electronically from your bank account directly into the parish’s account with the Anglican Investment and Development Fund. You will receive a pad of Offering Certificates that allows you to show your commitment in the offering plate at services. For more information go to: AIDF – Anglican Direct
Weekly Giving Envelopes
Weekly Giving Envelopes (to place in the offering plate) for 2012 are available from the Parish Office.
Cash or cheque
Whatever method you choose, your financial giving to the mission of God’s church is greatly appreciated. All financial information remains confidential.
The Benefits of Internet Banking and Anglican Direct giving are:
• funds are electronically transferred into the parish’s account
• it is safe, simple, convenient and confidential
• it’s easier and more secure for us – less counting, transporting and banking
