The Rev'd Paul Black
Rev'd Paul came to the parish in January 08. St John's College, Morpeth (in the Diocese of Newcastle) is where he did his theological training. He was ordained deacon and priest by the Bishop of Rockhampton in 1986 and 1987.
He can relate to spiritual writer Kenneth Leech when he says, "A central feature of the radical Anglican Catholic approach to ministry was its closeness to people, its strong commitment to the local area, its refusal to separate personal from political issues, and its rootedness in prayer and sacrament. This approach has inspired and nurtured many thousands of people." - page 247 "The Sky is Red: Discerning the signs of the times".
