Len Goodman AO FAIM

Married to Joyce; Parishioner since 1977, Licensed Lay Minister (since 1983 – plus 6 years in Melb.); Parish Councillor (third time!); Chairman five years; Warden six years; Chairman “Operation Conservation”.  Foundation National Director Diabetes Australia 84-91; 58-84 YMCA Youth Worker to CEO Canberra 77-84 (Assoc. Director National Council 69-76); Consultant ACT Society for the Physically Handicapped 91-95.  Volunteer and staff with community agencies since 1953.  Current: Chairman St John’s Precinct Development Board; Chairman, Burgmann College ANU (Anglican Bishop in Council appointee) Convenor, new $10m development; Member Order of Australia Committee ACT Branch; Former Chairman, “Snowy Hydro SouthCare” Aero medical Helicopter 1998 – 2006; Past District Governor Rotary International – various Club, District and International posts; ACT Government “Honorary Ambassador of Canberra”; one of Canberra Times – “75 Faces of Canberra”.

 

Helen Wilson

Helen has been licensed by Bishop George as a Lay Minister at St John’s since 1999.  She served as a member of Parish Council at St Johns for three years from 1996 and from 1999 until 2005 as People’s Warden and then, Rector’s Warden. Helen was confirmed an Anglican and then spent a number of years in the Uniting Church before returning, to St John’s, in 1991.
