St John the Baptist Church and Schoolhouse circa 1864

Centrally situated on the edge of the Parliamentary Triangle, the Anglican Church of St John the Baptist (consecrated in 1845), predates the nation’s capital by 70 years. The Church, graveyard and schoolhouse are living reminders of our pioneering farming community.
